It is the scenery of one of the most memorable romantic adventure of the cinema. It is the main Moroccan city and capital in all aspects except for the Administration. Casablanca is the major harbour of Maghreb, it was built following the model and pattern of the one in Marseille but today is busier than this one.

The western aspect of Casablanca (you rarely may see a woman with veil) hide a city with the most intense social changes of Morocco.

The Medina or old city is worthy of a visit. The Hassan II mosque is one of the biggest of the world.

The most impressive examples of Moorish architecture may be seen in Mohamed V square.

This city is lively and busy.

It is the biggest city of Morocco. Its industrial centre is an enormous and impetuous metropolis where the traditional Moroccan clothes are apparently out of its proper atmosphere as the massive presence of western suits and expensive sunglasses give the city a different appearance.
